The inspiration for Alyssa and Cove’s wedding came from their desire to honor the natural beauty of the island of Kauai. As I collected inspiration I got excited about creating designs that would feel comfortable and loving. And, in the end, we ended up with a design that was warm with simplicity. Alyssa and Cove exchanged their vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their guests. Everything took place under the canopy of a giant plumeria and was blanketed by the sea breeze. We carried that intimacy throughout the reception decor where we juxtaposed natural grasses and lush tropical flowers against soft cream linens. Playing off the warmth of the Kauai sunset, we added touches of metallics and burning pinks that were fiery, but felt like home.
